STEP 1. Gather the following documents according to the purpose of your trip:

  • Non-US Citizens: copy of Green Card


Business requirements

  • Invitation letter from company in China (must include: company letterhead, signature and company stamp)

  • Copy of applicant's driver license (front & back)

  • Copy of previous Chinese visa (if your visa is in the old passport and expired, please include a copy of the visa and your old passport. If your visa is in the old passport and still valid, please include your original old passport)

  • If your previous visa to China is still valid- include a statement addressed to the consulate that you agree for your previous visa to be cancelled in order for the new one to be issued. Sign and date the statement.

  • Non-US Citizens: copy of Green Card
